The patient’s current overall health is also important: hormone levels; ruling out other conditions that could manifest as gender-related distress; and assessing for any somatic or genetic abnormalities.

In the field of genital surgery—beyond medical records and opinions from the physician and psychologist overseeing transition—a civil court judgment recognizing legal gender is required (under Polish law, this document authorizes the surgeon to proceed with gender-affirming genital surgery). The preparatory process, including consultations, may begin before obtaining such a judgment.

Timeless Clinic does not provide psychological, sexological, or hormone therapy.

Timeless Clinic does not provide psychological, sexological, or hormone therapy. We understand what the transition process involves and the challenges our patients may face. All Timeless Clinic staff are appropriately trained and practice exceptional sensitivity and full understanding of the difficulties that transgender people may encounter.

At Timeless Clinic, we perform plastic surgery procedures—one stage of the overall transition process. Therefore, before starting surgical gender-affirming care, we carry out an appropriate interdisciplinary assessment of each patient’s physical, sexological, mental, and psychological status.

Top surgery

For other procedures that align a person’s appearance with their affirmed gender (e.g., “top surgery”), a court judgment is not required. Some procedures—such as mastectomy—are also performed for minors (ages 14–15) with parental consent and an indication from the clinician overseeing transition (psychiatrist). Required medical documentation, tests, and opinions are discussed individually at the first visit.

During the consultation, you can review photographic documentation of procedures performed at Timeless Clinic, including intraoperative course and final outcomes.

A consultation is the time to ask questions.

We know that patients sometimes feel hesitant to ask questions—or emotions make it easy to forget what to ask. We therefore suggest writing down all your questions before the visit; it makes the conversation easier and helps organize information.

At the first visit and at every stage of care, we encourage you to ask questions and share any doubts—we always respond patiently and thoroughly. If you’re interested, please book a consultation.

We answer the most frequently asked questions in our Q&A video series on our YouTube channel.
